A Romance

Jane Eyre is an alluring book. What makes it so? Is it the mystery of the dark foreboding house? The romance of a young governess falling in love with her wealthy employer? Or is it the sadness of the figure of a maltreated and lost child Jane and duped and heart-broken character of the adult Jane?
It is a mix of these. Without each element of this enjoyable book, what a dull read it would make. Thus, the mystery of this book is in how Charlotte Bronte the author found such a delightful mix of the elements.
In fact, All Charlotte did was to intertwine the three in a complicated twist, an elegant and dark tapestry. The events unfold, the sadness twines with mystery, the mystery twines with romance and the romance twines with the mystery.
Thus our first book is indeed recommended, and The Bookworm urges one and all of its readers to sit down and dive into its deep and powerful story.
