This series, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, is probably one of the bookworm's favorites! Why? Because of the otherworldly feel to it. The owls with their fact and their fiction, the Great Ga'Hoole Tree grown in magical roots and the Band, Soren, Gylfie, Digger and Twilight. They especially are some of the best characters to meet. Kathryn Lasky does an extraordinary job bringing the world of the owls to life as the reader follows the owls into battle, danger, intrigue and evil plots.
The myths of the owl's are no small matter either. They to have a place in this series, explaining some of the less fine points and giving even more depth to the characters.
